StoryFest 2017 was Readathon Milton Manor

In 2014 the first Oxfordshire Read-a-thon was held in the grounds of Milton Manor close to Abingdon and Didcot. After three very succesful years, Read-a-thon is back, but this time it’s called StoryFest. We will have all the familiar activities and some new ones as well.

The theme is books, books, books and of course lots of family fun and here are a few highlights:

Class Act Teaching Services are Oxfordshire’s leading primary school teacher supply agency.

This is the second year Class Act have supported StoryFest (Read-a-thon) and look forward to meeting you again at the Book Tombola.

Our business is to supply teachers to schools, but we also enjoy our work supporting children’s education and contributing to our local communities through our charitable work.

About our Host Location Milton Manor

Milton Manor is a beautiful mellow brick house, traditionally designed by Indigo Jones, with a celebrated Gothic library and Catholic chapel. Lived in by the family; pleasant relaxed and informal atmosphere. Park with fine old trees, stables, walled garden and woodland walk.

2017 – The House and Gardens and are open on Sunday 16^th April and Bank Holiday Monday 17^th April. Also on Sunday 30^th April and Bank Holiday Monday 1^st May and then from Sunday 21^st May to Sunday 4^thof June (inclusive) and Friday 18^th August to Thursday 31^st of August (inclusive) 2017.

Opening Times: 2p.m. until 5pm. Guided Tours of the house: 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Visitors do not need to book in advance.

Free parking is available just outside the gates once you pay your entrance fee.

No dogs allowed except for guide dogs.
