How do we recruit the highest quality primary teachers?

Our Process image

Our supply teacher recruitment process is designed to ensure that your school always gets teaching and support staff that are:

• Safe – fully vetted and checked
• Professional – in look and attitude
• Suitably qualified – and experienced

We carry out all checks ourselves in-house and we repeat them every six weeks. This rechecking exercise is not a requirement but is one of the additional processes we carry out to show our level of commitment to excellent primary teaching services. We are thorough with every task we take on. That is the Class Act way!

The supply teacher booking process

One of our managers or education recruitment consultants is available to take your bookings or answer any queries on the phone seven days a week from 7.00 until 21.00.

We will match the best available teacher or teaching assistant to the placement and ensure that you have copies of any recruitment checks for our supply teaching staff before the start of their first working day.

Our supply teachers and supply teaching assistants will have a Class Act Teaching Services ID card. They will arrive ready resourced, planned and prepared for the year group that they are booked for.

What happens next?

Excellent working relationships are built and maintained by keeping in touch with our schools and teachers on a regular basis.

Once a week, we will call your school to ask for feedback on all teachers currently placed.

Likewise, we will speak to each of our teachers to check how their week has gone and always act on any feedback received.

This is part of our commitment to continual improvement of our primary teaching services.
