Clare Adams-Yewer (FIRP) began her career in nursery management, qualifying as a Registered Nursery Manager. She joined Class Act back in 2009 and quickly rose to become our Branch Manager. Clare is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (FIRP) and is the main contact for both schools and teachers on all operational and day to day matters.
Mark Oliver (MIRP) is Julia's husband and worked for over 30 years in the Architectural profession, designing many school projects in and around Oxfordshire and the Midlands. Mark provides directorial support for Julia and management across many aspects of the business. He has a gift for creative design which he uses in our marketing material.
Sam Styles has over 10 years’ experience working as a teacher in a range of primary schools in Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire. Sam has previous experience of working with the Class Act Team as a supply teacher and has recently taken on the role of Deputy Branch Manager. Sam is really looking forward to getting to know all our brilliant teachers and schools.
Nikki Smith is our Recruitment and Marketing Consultant and supports the whole team with far too many tasks to mention. Nikki always has a smile on her face and loves travelling. She is a recent convert to the sport of Ice Hockey and is often seen cheering on and representing Class Act at the Oxford City Stars in matches (as a supporter not a player).
Lisa Green is our Finance assistant, supporting our schools with all finance matters. Lisa enjoys being outdoors and is a keen runner, having ran 6 half Marathons within the last year (as well as running after her 3 children and dog!). She loves to travel near and far and is a happiest around a camp fire in the summer evening.
As you can see above we are very much a Family business and have been working together for a number of years, so you can be guaranteed continuity of staff members so that when you pick up the phone, you know exactly who you are speaking to (and we know you too of course).
All managers at Class Act are members of the IRP (Institute of Recruitment Professionals), which means that as individuals we have demonstrated significant skills and experience in the education sector with the highest personal values. We are especially proud of Julia, who has been awarded Fellowship of the IRP.
Class Act Teaching Services is a member of REC Education (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) and have been awarded the Gold Standard REC ‘Audited Education status’.
The REC Audited Education scheme is the most comprehensive regulatory audit available and ensures businesses comply with the very best practice on safeguarding legislation and recruitment procedures.
