Welcome to Class Act Teaching Services, the leading primary supply teaching Agency in Oxfordshire. As Owner and MD, this is quite honestly my baby, a business which I am truly passionate about and continue to nurture over 18 years down the line!

I graduated from De Montford University with B.Ed (Hons) and began my primary school teaching career in Warwickshire. After several years as a Class Teacher, I joined a well-known national education recruitment company, however it soon became apparent that there was a need for higher quality, personalised supply services for primary schools. This would have been difficult for a national company to provide, so in 2002 I set up my own independent teaching supply agency to provide first class people to local schools.

My goal through Class Act is get to know exactly what Oxfordshire Schools and Teachers require and then work directly with them to provide them with their best match teacher. We never compromise quality to fill a booking and have complete transparency with all of our Clients and Supply Staff.

I am also a mother of two young children and this means that I view things as a parent too. At Class Act we know that every child matters and that supply teachers have a key role in ensuring that children are given an uninterrupted high quality education

We have grown from a very modest start and are now delighted to be the leading primary teaching supply agency in Oxfordshire, but of course we still continue to offer that individual service that is the core to my business.  Our aim is not to be the biggest, but to simply be the best provider in the primary education sector in Oxfordshire.

Sam has over 10 years’ experience working as a teacher in a range of primary schools in Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire. Sam has previous experience of working with the Class Act Team as a supply teacher and has recently taken on the role of Deputy Branch Manager. Sam is really looking forward to getting to know all our brilliant teachers and schools.

Nikki is our Recruitment and Marketing Consultant and supports the whole team with far too many tasks to mention. Nikki always has a smile on her face and loves travelling. She is a recent convert to the sport of Ice Hockey and is often seen cheering on and representing Class Act at the Oxford City Stars in matches (as a supporter not a player).

Lisa is our Finance assistant, supporting our schools with all finance matters. Lisa enjoys being outdoors and is a keen runner, having ran 6 half Marathons within the last year (as well as running after her 3 children and dog!). She loves to travel near and far and is a happiest around a camp fire in the summer evening.

Becky is our Office Administrator, supporting the whole office in numerous tasks. Becky makes some amazing cakes and spends lots of time visiting interesting places and of course supporting her 3 boys with school work or stood by the side of a wet football field offering encouragement!

As you can see above we are very much a Family business and have been working together for a number of years, so you can be guaranteed continuity of staff members so that when you pick up the phone, you know exactly who you are speaking to (and we know you too of course).
