To become the Leading Supply Teaching Agency in Oxfordshire does not happen overnight.
It takes time, commitment and lots of team work, something Class Act Teaching Services has been doing for 15 years.
We have taken the time to establish excellent working relationships and very importantly gained the detailed knowledge of our teachers and schools to ensure that we find the RIGHT teacher for the RIGHT school every time.
Julia our MD is a qualified primary teacher and Clare our manager is a qualified early years manager. As professionals we truly understand what it is like to teach and to work in a school. This experience allows us to understand both the needs of the school and of our supply teachers.
We are absolutely committed to Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment. We have a very close working relationship with the Safeguarding Team Local Authority Designated Officer at Oxfordshire County Council and follow their protocols at all times - SEE also the Safeguarding section at the top of this page.
“Class Act is always our first choice for a teaching agency because of the high quality and personal service that I know we are going to get. The whole process of recruiting a supply teacher, from the initial conversation about our needs to the delivery of the service is always handled in a very professional manner.”
Lynn Knapp - Windmill Primary School
Our supply teacher recruitment process is designed to ensure that at your school, you only get safe, suitably qualified, fully vetted and checked professional, qualified teaching staff.
We carry out all checks ourselves in-house and… importantly… we repeat them every six weeks. This rechecking exercise is not a requirement, but is just one of the additional processes we carry out that shows our level of commitment. We are thorough and diligent in every task we take on.
One of our Managers or Education Consultants are available on the phone 7 days a week from 7am until 9pm to take your bookings or answer any queries. We will match the best available teacher to the placement and ensure that you have copies of any recruitment checks for all our teachers before the start of that working day.
All of our Teachers and TA’s will have a Class Act Teaching Services ID Card and will arrive ready resourced, planned and prepared for the year group that they are booked for.
Excellent working relationships are built and maintained by keeping in touch with both Schools and Teachers on a regular basis. Once a week we will call a school to ask for feedback on all teachers placed that week.
Likewise we will also speak to each of our teachers to check how their week has gone and always act on any feedback we receive. This is part of our commitment to continual improvement.
Class Act Teaching Services is a family company owned by a qualified Primary School Teacher, supported by three very experienced managers and assisted by a team of professional Education Recruitment Consultants.
Our highly skilled management team have worked together for over eight years and this continuity has also allowed Class Act to create strong relationships with many longstanding Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers, Bursars and School Administrators.
